CUES was present at the EGOS 2025 Colloquium in Athens on 3-5 July 2025, through the participation of our team member Sepide Mehrabi from the ITEM group at Eindhoven University of Technology. Sepide presented early-stage work developed within the CUES project, conducted in collaboration with her team members Maral Mahdad, Shaya Ashouri and Arjan Markus.

She shared early-stage research on transparency and traceability in agri-food value chains during the Methods in Social Evaluations Professional Development Workshop (PDW). This PDW focused on peer learning and constructive feedback among early-career researchers, offering a valuable setting for methodological exchange around social evaluations.

We also participated in sessions under the sub-theme Expertise and Professional Knowledge in the Context of Grand Challenges, which explored themes closely aligned with CUES—such as trust-building, professional authority, and systemic change in food systems.

We’re glad to be part of these academic conversations and look forward to continuing the dialogue in upcoming events.
