Navigating anti-vegan perspectives for persuasive communication in sustainable food transitions
This research examines how anti-vegans rationalize their resistance to veganism and plant-based diets, emphasizing the influence of misinformation and cultural narratives. Through focus groups in Greece and the Netherlands, the study explores psychological reactance, moral disengagement, and cultural framing in shaping anti-vegan sentiment. Findings will support the development of culturally sensitive persuasive communication strategies for promoting sustainable food transitions.
