Digital Transparency and Competitive Advantage in the Food System: Insights from the TITAN Workshop

On Thursday 22 May 2025 the TITAN project hosted in Rome, a high-level workshop titled “Leveraging Digital Transparency and Competitive Advantage in the Food System through the EU Green Deal”.

This event brought together researchers, policymakers, and innovation experts from various Horizon Europe projects to explore how digital technologies can drive transparency, traceability, and trust across food value chains.

Representing the CUES project, our partner Eindhoven University of Technology contributed to a dynamic panel discussion, highlighting CUES’ efforts to empower consumers through transparency-driven interventions. During the workshop, opportunities and challenges of digital innovations in enhancing transparency were explored, and a rich dialogue on potential solutions was initiated.

The event demonstrated the importance of to build bridges between research and practice in the transition toward transparent, traceable, and trustworthy food systems.
