Our sister project TealHelix, has kick-off meeting on Sept 25-26 in Leuven, and they invite us to present our project!

The TealHelix project, “Building Resilience Through Inclusive and Personalized Food Labeling” (Project number 101136955), is a HORIZON Research and Innovation Action with a duration of 48 months, starting on 1 September 2024 and ending on 31 August 2028 and an EU contribution of €6,500,000.

The TealHelix project aims to improve how consumers make decisions about sustainable food by creating more personalised and inclusive labelling approaches. Using a method called motivational matching, we will develop new types of labels and digital tools to help people understand and choose more sustainable options. This personalised approach will also help overcome resistance to sustainability and meet the different needs of vulnerable consumers.

We had the chance to identify common ground or synergies between the two projects, but also aspects where we will complement each other.

CUES is more focused on research in real life in intervention cases that will take a wholistic and triple change perspective, whereas the TealHelix project will be testing (mostly in geographically different locations) with tech-based communication interventions that specifically deal with labelling.

Many thanks to Tim Smits from our partner KU Leuven who presented CUES.
